Antique, collectors item, high pile, in perfect condition, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the four corners and the fringes are repaired, the edges are finished with 2 cm kelim, the shirazi borders are rolled on one line with cotton, the center medallion and the four corners are rust with blue, the first surrounded border is rust, the second surrounded large border is ivory, the background is covered by a finely outlined pattern with blue and ivory, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
This example is considered as a solid investment.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Caucasian Rugs” by Ulrich Schurmann on page 203, plate 69.
