Fine antique hand-painted Russian Orthodox icon depicting Christ Pantocrator (Christ the Almighty) holding an open gospel book and bestowing a blessing. The icon is enclosed in a magnificent metal riza covered with silver stamped 84, enhanced with gold plating, and adorned with a vibrant polychrome enameled halo and details, signed “B.C Czar”.
In perfect condition, meticulously preserved. Hand-painted on a traditional wood panel, featuring a stamped 84 silver, gold-plated, and enameled oklad.
A stunning, highly decorative piece of sacred religious art, perfect for collectors.
