Antique, vegetable dyes. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun wool, high pile, minor repairs already made, the black knots are oxidized, the background color is indigo, turtle design, the surrounded large border is ivory, soft as a handkerchief.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Orientteppiche ” by Doris Eder on page 211.
