Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the surrounded large border is ivory, at the center four medallions, in poor condition, the shirazi borders are woven on two lines, soft as an handkerchief and in its original shape.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Orientteppiche ” by Doris Eder on page 134.
