Antique, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp threads are cotton, the weft threads are mixed with wool and camel hair, the shirazi borders are rolled on one line with cotton, the edges are finished with 3 cm kelim, high pile, in perfect condition, soft as a handkerchief, high standard quality and in its original shape.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Caucasian Carpets” by Doris Eder on page 264, plate 269.
