Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the salvages are woven on two lines with wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, rust background, uniformly short pile, soft as a handkerchief, in its original shape.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Der Anatolische Teppiche” by J. Iten-Maritz on page 201.
