Antique, museum standard, collectors item, authentic Transylvanian “Siebenburg” Ottoman rug with prayer design, vegetable dyes. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun lamb wool. The oxidized black knots give the appearance of being done in relief, both edges are finished with 3 cm yellow kelim, the prayer design is warm rust-red, up mirror is sky blue, the surrounded large border is soft yellow-golden, the selvages are rolled on one line with yellow wool, in perfect shape, soft as a handkerchief, high standard quality and in its original shape.
