It’s a pair of Soumak bag faces. Collectors item, in perfect condition, vegetable dyes, woven with Soumak technique and hand spun wool, geometric design, the background is indigo, the ivory medallions are woven with cotton, the surrounded large border is red extracted from the cochineal, finely woven, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
The second is A-159, 46 x 100 cm. The pair costs CHF 4’800.-
