Fine antique hand-painted Russian Orthodox icon depicting the Mother of God (Theotokos) “Joy of All Who Sorrow”, showing her standing centrally surrounded by suffering people, angels, and various narrative banners with Cyrillic text, beneath a depiction of God the Father emerging from clouds at the top, flanked by upper Cyrillic border inscriptions (“ВСѢХЪ СКОРБЯЩИХЪ РАДОСТЬ”).
Hand-painted on a traditional wood panel. In good condition considering its age.
