Signed “Saiid Mahmood Farmaïsh ” , and dated 1325 = 1907, antique, collectors item.
1’000’000 knots in sqm, the knots are hand spun Pashmina wool from the Himalayas (silky wool), the selvages are rolled with silk threads, the edges are finished with 2 cm kilim, the black knots are oxidized, vegetable dyes, the background color and the surrounded large border are indigo, the center medallion and the four corners are ivory with terracotta, soft as a handkerchief, a small part has abrashe, high standard quality, in good condition, in its original shape, rare example.
It is considered as a solid investment.
