Dated 1303 = 1885. Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun wool. The salvages are woven on two lines with wool, the edges are finished with traditional Kazak technique, the background color is black, designed with two turtles, the surrounded large border is ivory, high pile, two places are repaired, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Ulrich Schurman” on page 57.
