Antique, collectors item, the knots are hand spun wool, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the shirazi borders are rolled on one line with wool, the edges are finished with 1 cm kelim, minor places to be knotted, the background color is indigo, the surrounded large border is ivory, very finely knotted, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Caucasian Rugs”, by Ulrich Schurman on page 105.
