Antique, museum standard, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the edges are finished with tiny kelim, the salvages are woven on two lines with multicolored wool, the borders have thick pile but the center is uniformly used, soft as a handkerchief.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Alte Teppiche asu dem Orient” by Gewerbemuseum Basel page 40, plate 41.
