Antique, collectors item, high pile, in perfect condition, vegetable dyes, the knots are hand spun wool, the black knots are oxidized, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the center medallion is surrounded with animals, the shirazi borders are rolled on one line with cotton, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Oriental Carpets” by Doris Eder on page 304.
