Dated 1263 = 1846, and signed “AMAL OSTAD MOHAMED KERMANI ” Antique, museum standard, collector’s item. Unique example and rare design, soft as a handkerchief, finely knotted.
Vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the background color is blue, the center medallion is salmon with ivory, the four corners are salmon, the surrounded large border is ivory, certain design are in relief woven in Soumak technique with metallic threads, the surrounded large border is ivory, not in perfect condition.
Private collection.
It is considered as a solid investment.
