Antique, collectors item, museum standard, vegetable dyes. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun wool. The black knots are oxidized, the background color is indigo, the center square medallion and the surrounded large border are ivory, the selvages are woven on two lines with wool, certain places the pile is slightly short, soft as a handkerchief, in its original shape and high standard quality.
