Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the selvages are woven on two lines with wool, the pile is slightly short, the last tiny border of below edge is rebuilt, soft as a handkerchief, high standard quality, finely knotted.
A similar example was published in the catalog “PASSAGES Armenian Rugs” by Murray L. Eiland, Jr on page 107.
