An antique Middle Eastern Cairoware brass vessel featuring dense hand-chased ornamentation and silver-inlaid calligraphic medallions.
- Calligraphic & Astrological Medallions: The squat, rounded body is chased with alternating roundels containing flowing Thuluth-style Arabic inscriptions, figural scenes, and intricate geometric knotwork.
- Mixed-Metal Inlay Work: Hand-engraved with fine silver-inlaid accents contrasting against the heavy cast brass body, enriched by linear patterned borders around the neck and rim.
- Authentic Mamluk Revival Patina: Displays a rich, aged dark bronze-and-brass surface with authentic verdigris oxidation visible on the interior lip, making it a distinguished addition to any Islamic art collection.
