Antique, collectors item, very finely knotted, soft as a handkerchief, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun lamb wool. The selvages are woven on eight to ten lines with wool, below edge is finished with 1 cm kelim, thick pile, in good condition, a tiny repair (1 x 2 cm) is made, the background color is indigo with allover Herati design, below corners are sky blue, rare example, high standard quality.
