Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the warp and the weft threads are 100%, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the black knots are oxidized, certain places the pile is slightly short, the background color is indigo, at the center tree medallions, the surrounded large border is indigo, the selvages are woven on two lines with wool, both edges are finished with tiny kelim, in its original shape..
A similar example was published in the catalog of “PASSAGES Armenian Rugs” by Murray L. Eiland, Jr. on page 104.
