Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the selvages are woven on two lines with different color wool, below edge two tiny places to be repaired, up edge is finished with 4 cm kilim, the background color is indigo, the center medallion is sky blue, the surrounded large border is ivory, the ornaments are soft rust, high pile, in good condition, soft as a handkerchief, high standard quality and in its original shape.
A similar example was published in 1975 in the catalog of ” Orientteppich / Kaukasische Teppiche ” by Doris Eder on page 114, plate 80.
