Antique, collectors item, in perfect condition, high pile, the black knots are oxidized, vegetable dyes, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the edges are finished with 3 cm kelim, the salvages are woven on two lines, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, allover design, the background color is dark terracotta, the fringes are 6 cm length, rare example, soft like a handkerchief, high standard quality and in its original shape.
This example is considered as a solid investment.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Caucasian Rugs “, by Ulrich Schurmann on page 35, plate 127.
