Antique, collectors item, prayer design, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the salvages are woven on three lines, both edges are finished with tiny kilim, rust background, certain places the pile is replaced, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
A similar example was published in 1975, in the catalog of “Orientteppiche / Kaukasische Teppiche” by Doris Eder on page 110, plate 46.
This example is considered as a solid investment.
