Antique, collectors item, in relief ( Souf), vegetable dyes. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun 100% silk. The brown knots are oxidized, high pile, in perfect condition. The background is woven and the design is knotted in relief “souf” and certain flowers with silver and gold threads “serma”. Both edges are finished with tiny kelim, the selvages are rolled on one line with silk, vase design, the background and the surrounded large border are soft yellow, the four corners are sky blue, soft as an handkerchief, high standard quality, fine rug, in its original shape.
This example is considered as a solid investment.
