Antique, collectors item, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, the surrounding border with Cufic design, the shirazi borders are woven on two lines, the last tiny borders of the two edges are rebuilt, in acceptable condition, soft as a handkerchief and high standard quality.
A similar example was published in the catalog of ” Caucasian Rugs “, by Ulrich Schurmann on page 104.
