Antique, from 16th century Mohgul design, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots and hand spun Manchester wool, the warp and the weft threads are cotton, the surrounded large border is designed with Islamic inscriptions, elegant carpet, high standard quality, in its original shape, very finely knotted, the four corners are green, the background color is ivory, high pile, in excellent condition.

Belongs to Meier Müller collection and its picture is in the catalog printed in 1921 in three languages: English, French and German, in Zollikon ZH/ Switzerland by. The production was organized by Mr. Carl Meyer-Pünter who was the Swiss General Consul in India in that period.
