Fine antique hand-painted Russian Orthodox triptych icon featuring multiple sacred scenes: the central panel depicts the Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Tabor, flanked by side panels showing the Crucifixion and the Resurrection / Harrowing of Hell (or Raising of Lazarus), all housed within an elaborately carved wooden architectural frame with ornate scrollwork.
Hand-painted on traditional carved wood panels.
In good condition considering its age, showing authentic age-related wear.
