Antique, collectors item, vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, the warp and the weft threads are 100% wool, Shal design, with three center medallions, the four corners are decorated with peacocks, one edge is finished with 2cm kelim, the shirazi borders are rolled on one line with colored wool, certain places the pile is heavy used, a tiny hole 4 x 8 cm to be repaired, soft as an handkerchief, in its original shape.
A similar example was published in the catalog of “Ullstein Teppichbuch” by Reinhard Hubel.
